Cara Capretta is a former Senior Partner of Korn/Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting. Prior to Korn/Ferry’s acquisition of Lominger International in 2006, she was President and Chief Operating Officer at Lominger. She is the coauthor of FYI for Talent Management™, a book for developing learning agility—a concept that is strongly connected to being a “high potential,” and coauthor of The Interview Architect®, a book for developing competency-based interview guides. Cara has over 15 years of practical experience working with leaders, teams, and organizations on development. Prior to joining Lominger, she was the Director of Executive Development for Nationwide, a Fortune 500 insurance company, where she designed and implemented a succession planning system to identify, develop, and place global talent in an organization with over 30,000 employees.

Bob Eichinger is Vice Chairman of the Korn/Ferry Institute for Korn/Ferry International. Prior to Korn/Ferry’s acquisition of Lominger International, he was cofounder and CEO of Lominger Limited, Inc. and cocreator of the Leadership Architect® Suite of management, executive, and organizational development tools. During his 40+ year career, he has worked inside companies such as PepsiCo and Pillsbury, and as a consultant in Fortune 500 companies in the United States, Europe, Japan, Canada, and Australia. Dr. Eichinger lectures extensively on the topic of executive and management development and has served on the Board of the Human Resource Planning Society. He has worked as a coach with more than 1,000 managers and executives. Some of his books include The Leadership Machine, written with Mike Lombardo, 100 Things You Need to Know: Best People Practices for Managers & HR, written with Mike Lombardo and Dave Ulrich, and FYI for Strategic Effectiveness™, written with Kim Ruyle and Dave Ulrich.

Michael Lombardo

Michael Lombardo Co-founder of Lominger Inc.


Mike Lombardo has over 30 years experience in executive and management research and in executive coaching. He is one of the founders of Lominger Limited, Inc., publishers of the Leadership Architect® Suite. With Bob Eichinger, Mike has authored 40 products for the suite, including The Leadership Machine, FYI For Your Improvement™, the Career Architect®, Choices Architect®, and VOICES®. During his 15 years at the Center for Creative Leadership, Mike was a coauthor of The Lessons of Experience, which detailed which learnings from experience can teach the competencies needed to be successful. He also coauthored the research on executive derailment revealing how personal flaws and overdone strengths caused otherwise effective executives to get into career trouble, Benchmarks®, a 360º feedback instrument, and the Looking Glass® simulation. Mike has won four national awards for research on managerial and executive development.

Vicki Swisher

Vicki Swisher Intellectual Property Development Consultant

Vicki Swisher is an Intellectual Property Development Consultant of Korn/Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting. Vicki has a broad range of experience in human resource development, with much of her work centered in the areas of change leadership, performance management and improvement consulting, instructional design, and training. Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, she was in an organizational effectiveness leadership role with Hartford Life. While at Hartford Life, Vicki rolled out a comprehensive change management methodology and provided internal consulting to client partners in the areas of performance management and leadership development. Previously, Vicki spent 15 years in the hospitality sector with Marriott International and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. During her time in the hotel industry, she held leadership positions in group sales and catering, worked in public relations, and managed a sales training function.
